I should be posting something more serious, like a reply to Sean Carroll’s disproof of life after death or another Not-So-Casual Commentary, but I’ve been doing a lot of writing elsewhere and don’t really feel like.  So, instead, you’ll get this:

When a local TV station started running re-runs of Star Trek:  TNG many, many years ago, they did a commercial parodying the song “We Didn’t Start the Fire” to advertise it.  Here are those lyrics, as best I remember them:
