I’m doing it again …

So, I got stuck on a boss fight in Record of Agarest War Zero, thought that new tactics or maybe a little bit of grinding could help, and put it aside for a bit because I didn’t want to take the time and effort and frustration to do that. Planned on picking it up this weekend. Didn’t. And I’ve been reading Star Wars novels — the “New Jedi Order” series, which I’m now almost finished and really enjoying — and so have gotten myself interest in The Old Republic again, and created a new character — Sith Warrior, a Sith Warrior bound by honour and who desires honourable combat but still does enjoy combat and killing — and …

Crap. I’m gonna end up dropping it again, aren’t I [grin]?

Have you thought about streaming or recording your gaming?

In any case, NJO is an absolutely excellent series. IMO, the high point of the Star Wars extended universe alongside Timothy Zahn’s work. Unfortunately, a lot of post-NJO stuff features a lot of… character derailment to say the least.

I don’t think it would be entertaining enough to make it worth the effort, especially of, well, REMEMBERING to do it [grin].

I do like Zahn’s stuff, but I think I like the X-Wing series better than any of the others. Anyway, after this I’m moving on to re-read “Legacy of the Force” which I remember at least kinda liking, so we’ll see how that goes.

About the only series I really hate is the “Joiner” Triliogy. I own and have read them all, but don’t plan on reading any of them again.

Actually, the closest I’ve ever come to recording plays was considering doing one of those “Let’s Play” things like Shamus Young used to do, but I’ve never really found the time.

And yes, I want to be like Shamus when I grow up, even though I’m only like 1 – 2 years younger than him [grin].
